Carrier Sales Representative – Logistics (Entry level)

Location: Southfield, Michigan (On-site)

The Role

As a Carrier Sales Rep, you are the ultimate matchmaker. You are responsible for building and managing a network of trucking companies (carriers) to move our customers' goods across North America. This is a high-volume, phone-heavy sales role that requires quick thinking, sharp negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

What You’ll Do

• Build Your Network: Proactively "hunt" and vet high-quality trucking companies to join the Rock City network.
• Negotiate Like a Pro: Source and negotiate the best rates with carriers to ensure maximum margin and service reliability.
• The "Bullpen" Hustle: Manage high-volume outbound calls and digital bidding platforms to cover available loads in real-time.
• Problem Solve: Proactively track shipments and solve logistical "hiccups" before they become problems for our customers.
• Own Your Book: Take ownership of your carrier relationships, turning one-time transactions into long-term strategic partnerships.
