Health Information Management Coder We are seeking a HIM Coder to transform diagnoses and treatment procedures into accurate codes using the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) . The role involves sequencing diagnoses and procedures to optimize reimbursement, ensuring timely, precise coding, and generating coding reports from the electronic health record (EHR) system. Key Responsibilities Convert diagnoses and treatment procedures into codes using ICD and related classification systems. Sequence diagnoses and procedures to maximize reimbursement accuracy. Ensure all records are coded accurately and within required timeframes. Generate and maintain coding reports from the EHR system. Education and Experience High School graduate or equivalent.
