All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months.?All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time.

We are looking for academically accomplished, highly motivated, and energetic individuals with a strong interest in Cybersecurity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Daily Security Operations
Monitor SIEM Alerts/Dashboards
Respond to AntiVirus EDR escalations
Assist weak password audits
Vulnerability Management
Patch high-risk vulns affecting individual Windows endpoints
Upgrade unsupported OS
Security Awareness Training
Build training content
Phishing simulations
Ensure employee compliance with completing training
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Basic understanding of information security concepts and principles
Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
Basic scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Experience with security tools (vulnerability scanners, SIEM)
Relevant coursework in cybersecurity topics
