The General Manager will play a pivotal role in the success of our fine dining establishment in the heart of the Greater Northern Jersey area . We are looking for a dynamic leader with extensive wine knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance, fostering a positive team environment.
• Monitor revenue and control costs of goods to maximize profitability.
• Utilize extensive wine knowledge to curate an exceptional beverage program.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance menu offerings and dining experiences.
• Engage with guests to promote a welcoming atmosphere and handle any inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a general management role within a fine dining restaurant or similar environment.
• Extensive knowledge of wines and beverage pairings.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Experience in hotel and elevated independent restaurant settings is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
