Legal Assistant / Secretary – Family Law Firm Location: Los Angeles, CA Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year Job Details Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience 3+ Years of Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary experience Experience supporting attorneys in Family Law, Divorce, Child Custody, or related legal matters Strong calendaring, court filing, document preparation, and client communication skills Responsibilities Support attorneys with case management, pleadings, correspondence, and discovery preparation Coordinate court filings, deadlines, hearings, and client meetings Maintain organized physical and electronic legal files Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence Assist with billing, time entry, and administrative support functions Preferred Qualifications Experience with California family law procedures and court systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
