JOB SUMMARY The Loan Operations Specialist supports Loan Administration, overseeing all operational functions, including Loan Processing, Commercial Loan Servicing, Loan Administration Compliance, Loan Records Retention, and Mortgage Servicing. Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of systems, processes, and compliance, the Specialist works closely with leadership to provide data, insights, and recommendations that inform departmental decisions and project initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Develop a thorough understanding of all processes and procedures and collaborate effectively with other departments involved in the workflow. Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time while maintaining a strong understanding of related processes and procedures. Maintain proficiency in loan software applications, including Fiserv Premier, ACE, LaserPro, DecisionPro, and Fiserv Director. Coordinate, complete, and communicate necessary process and system changes. Assist in maintaining and updating departmental procedures. Partner with staff to maximize the use of software applications, streamline processes, and ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Understand and support ACE-related responsibilities, including loan assignments and loan processing activities. Maintain knowledge of ACE Secondary Review requirements and assist with processing as needed. Submit requests for ACE enhancements and system updates that improve efficiency and streamline loan workflows, while communicating changes and updates to staff. Use knowledge, skills, and sound judgment to assist with TMS approval responsibilities. Support audit requests by gathering required documentation and conducting thorough reviews before submission. Provide administrative and operational support to management as needed. Keep management informed of workflow changes, process updates, and operational issues. Implement and monitor special projects and requests as assigned. Assist with daily interest rate change requirements within the core banking system. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business or another related field required, or a combination of equivalent, relevant work experience along with a high school diploma or GED. 3–5 years of prior banking experience in loan administration to ensure thorough knowledge of loan operations in production, servicing, and account management. Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), the Windows environment, and internet research skills. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while performing assigned duties. Excellent analytical, time‑management, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to multi‑task and work in a deadline‑driven environment. Self‑motivated with strong initiative, high accountability, and meticulous attention to detail. Commit to maintaining a high degree of ethical standards and confidentiality.
