Rula Health is seeking a Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team and deliver high-quality behavioral health care through secure telehealth platforms. As part of Rula Health, you will be supported by the innovative technology and user-centered solutions developed by our parent organization, Rula Technologies, which specializes in improving digital interfaces and experiences across software and hardware. In this fully remote position, you will provide individual and, when appropriate, family or group psychotherapy to a diverse panel of clients presenting with a range of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions. You will conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments, formulate diagnoses using DSM-5 criteria, and develop collaborative, goal-oriented treatment plans. Using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approaches, you will deliver structured, outcome-focused care tailored to each client’s needs. You will be responsible for maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation within our electronic health record system, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries that meet professional and regulatory standards. A key component of this role is ongoing risk assessment and management: you will evaluate safety concerns, conduct suicide and crisis assessments, and follow established protocols for escalation, safety planning, and coordination of higher levels of care when necessary. As a member of our integrated care team, you will collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary care providers, care coordinators, and other clinicians to ensure holistic, coordinated support for each client. You will communicate clinical impressions, treatment progress, and care needs clearly and professionally while adhering to HIPAA and all applicable privacy regulations. You will also help clients and their families understand treatment options, develop coping strategies, and navigate community and digital resources that support long-term mental health and well-being. The ideal candidate is a licensed clinical social worker who is comfortable working independently in a remote setting while also engaging actively with colleagues through virtual meetings, case consultations, and trainings. You are organized, tech-savvy, and skilled at building strong therapeutic relationships through video and phone-based interactions. You bring strong clinical judgment, cultural humility, and a commitment to evidence-based practice, along with the flexibility to adapt to new technologies and evolving best practices in telehealth.
