Senior Solutions Architect (Alfa Financial Software, Inc.; Royal Oak, MI) Responsibilities include: Leading technical aspects through project phases and designing solution architecture that makes the best use of Alfa Systems capabilities to meet client requirements and future projects. Managing a team to deliver architecture practice and ensure the success of client delivery. Identifying risks, issues, and dependencies; mitigating risks where possible and escalating as appropriate, including working through solutions with the client. Maintaining senior stakeholder and project relationships with corresponding client staff. Working with Product Owners and Markets & Products to shape and prioritize Alfa’s technical and functional roadmaps. Writing external blogs and whitepapers to demonstrate best practices and leadership. Reviewing RFP responses and leading sales demonstrations and presentations. Defining tactics in ownership areas to support corporate strategy. Managing telecommuting and 20% domestic travel to visit client sites and HQ. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, or related field. At least 5 years of experience as a Junior IT Consultant, Junior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, or Implementation Consultant Analyst, or related field. Experience in the automotive, equipment finance industries, or related finance sectors. Experience architecting highly scalable enterprise SaaS applications. Experience in cloud hosting architecture, processes and standards. Knowledge of AWS, PostgreSQL and CI/CD solutions. Experience writing and reviewing RFP responses and leading sales presentations.
