Job Title Therapeutic Specialist – Tzield Location Long Island, NY – Remote, US About the Job Therapeutic Specialists are part of the National Tzield Sales Team and play a pivotal role in bringing a paradigm‑shifting Type1 Diabetes product to market. They leverage deep sales experience and expertise to accelerate Tzield adoption across providers and accounts, collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners. The role develops territory‑specific sales strategies, educates endocrinology and primary care providers on Tzield and screening, and builds a robust Tzield customer base. Main Responsibilities Build brand awareness and intent to treat with endocrinology, establishing belief in Tzield’s mechanistic rationale and clinical narrative (MOA, approved indication, efficacy/safety profile). Develop in‑depth knowledge of key accounts across the territory, including barriers to Tzield use. Contribute to priority account strategy development led by SAMs and execute to engage endocrinology and primary care providers on Tzield use. For non‑priority endocrinology accounts, own the development and execution of growth‑oriented account and business plans (account mapping, influence mapping, etc.). Identify account champions/KOLs and engage them appropriately to communicate about Tzield with peers and patients. Build belief in Type1 Diabetes early detection and the importance of screening for asymptomatic, undiagnosed populations. Conduct strategic planning at the territory level to prioritize time, engagement, and education strategies within the broader T1D ecosystem. Contribute to screening strategy development and own execution to engage PCP/PED on early detection and screening. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and educate on urgent referrals for identified patients within the narrow treatment window. Educate stakeholders on at‑risk populations, screening/monitoring best practices, and the value of early detection (e.g., DKA avoidance). Additional Responsibilities Collaborate closely with cross‑functional Sanofi teams to support customers. Attend local, regional, and national meetings as directed while maintaining strict adherence to all legal, regulatory, ethical, administrative, and financial duties. Achieve and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Basic Qualifications B.A. / B.S. degree required. 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience. Account‑management sales and/or rare specialty product experience. Demonstrated ability to use data to drive improved business management and sales oversight within customer territories. Proven results in increasing educational awareness, provider adoption, and customer engagement. Experience successfully launching products in the field. Experience collaborating in a matrix environment across multiple sales, medical, and support functions. Strong business acumen and a solution‑oriented mindset. Ability to strategically plan and execute work. Robust communication skills and the ability to engage in two‑way stakeholder dialogue. High accountability for all feedback, coaching, and results.
